Yomi is a competitive card game for two players that captures the strategy elements of a fighting video game like Street Fighter or Tekken. The game consists of ten decks of cards, each deck representing a different character and requiring varied strategies when playing against different other characters. You can read more about the game here if you're interested.
I just recently purchased the four remaining decks to make my Yomi collection complete. While each deck comes in a nice tuckbox of its own, I decided I would like a nice box to keep all of the decks together in. Feeling a little bit "crafty", I decided to make a box that would be just the right size, and hopefully a little appealing to the eyes as well. I hadn't really done anything craft-wise since I made my Bat Mobile, so I figured I would take some photos of the project and share them here.

First off I bow to your creative ability and artsy-ness. Your box looks alot like the (expensive) archive boxes you can buy to store photos, collecter cards, etc. To think its all made of cardboard, paper, and electrical tape.
I took a bit of time to look over the link (the video was loading to slowly for me so I shall return to that later) and the card game looks like fun and easy to learn the basics of. I love the artwork on the cards and could see myself spending alot of time just looking throught them all.
You might think of expanding your creativity into a container for your growing Dominion game cards - something like this might work for them also (and I'm sure there are many logos you could you could "steal" for that too ^_^ )
I'm really happy to see a new blog post (not to mention that blogger is finally working again).

Ooooh cool. You got the box to look the way you wanted and you didn't have to buy one to customize. Smart.

3 hours... It totally looks like it took that long. The box is so neat and perfect and cute. It's probably tempting to leave the cards out of it just to admire the lining on the inside.
