I've always admired Batman's gadgets. Chief among them is his car - the Batmobile. While it would be cool to play Batman in a movie, I think the greatest job in any Batman film goes to the stunt driver that gets to drive his car. I have a very cool toy version of the Batmobile from Batman Begins (my favorite Batman film), but I would love to build an actual, real-life Batmobile. Realizing that is a nearly unattainable dream, I decided to settle for a Bat Mobile. It isn't nearly as cool as a sports-tank, but it will do for now.
I built my Bat Mobile in just about an hour using only a few simple materials I already had at home. Below is a picture of the tools and materials I used, and another one of the finished mobile hanging from my ceiling.
Awesome. Good way to improvise. Now all it needs are rockets and lasers.....

Very cool and creative. Construction paper? Amazing what great things you can do with an array of simple materials. I like your avatar change too!

Hmm... Lasers...
Yes, it's simple construction paper. I used ordinary copy paper to create my patern (the white bat in the first picture) and then traced it onto black construction paper. A funny thing happened while I was folding the bats. I unintentionally discovered two different ways to fold the wings. At first I was looking at one and scratching my head wondering why it's two wings didn't match. Once I figured out what I had done differently I did a few with the alternate folds for variety. This minor difference doesn't show up in the picture, and is hardly noticeable really, but I thought it was funny how it happened by accident.
Yeah, I thought the sleepy avatar was appropriate given my haphazard sleeping patterns.

Yeah, I tend to get little or no sleep for 2 or 3 nights in a row and then crash. It's been happening for a few months now I guess.
