After watching Heroes last night I feel that once again Peter and Sylar are the stars of the show. Making them brothers introduces an interesting dynamic to their rivalry. Now that Peter has acquired Sylar's power he is also manifesting "the hunger" that Sylar exhibits. While this makes for an interesting development, I'm actually far more interested in where Sylar might be headed. I love the irony in his character right now. Is he really trying to turn over a new leaf, or is he just putting on a good show? His actions would seem to indicate that he's really trying to impove, but then he turns around and does/says something that makes you wonder.
Speaking of the Petrellis, I wonder if Nathan's discovery of his powers being synthetic will cause him to become distanced from Peter. Of course, I'm assuming that Peter and Sylar came by their powers naturally. Maybe we'll learn otherwise later.
I liked what I've seen of Arthur Petrelli so far. The way they're portraying him reminds me of a true villian mastermind. He seems so vulnerable confined to a bed, and yet someone as powerful as Maury Parkman acts as his toady to carry out his plans. I suspect that he'll soon be healed, probably by Adam's blood, so that he can be up and moving around. It was said in the first season that Arthur commited suicide, but that obviously isn't true. I wonder what the story behind that is.
Overall, I liked last night's episode pretty well. Other than a small slip by the writers, forgetting that Sylar has super-hearing, it was a pretty well writen story. I'm looking forward to next week.
I agree there are some really interesting dynamics going on. And it's funny to see the instanteous change in Peter from absorbing Sylar's ability. His aggression, "The Hunger" kinda makes you reconsider the way Sylar is and whether he could really help it, although I definitely agree with you that it'll be interesting to see whether he's putting on a good show or really trying to change. The Future Sylar would seem to indicate he can change. But I guess we'll see.
Also Sylar has super-hearing, but he doesn't always have to use it, if he used it to it's fullest abilities all the time, he'd be going around in constant pain. One of the things about him seems like when he takes an ability he understands it in ways that even the people he took them from don't necessarily understand. It took him a little time to control, but, at this point I'm sure he can control it much better, but I agree it would've been a perfect opportunity for him to use his super-hearing.

It seems kind of an odd place for me to jump in now... but I did see yesterday's episode. From what you've already explained to me Nathan, I had a lot of questions in Season 2 that I thought would have been answered, but it seems like it's just raising more and more. One thing I'm interested in seeing is what's Maya going to do? Mohinder like... trapped her and I can see what you mean by a play off of Venom... the similarities are insane. What shocked me was seeing Hiro stab Ando... But, my mom pointed out that since he can travel through time, he could just grab the information he needed, go back in time and not have to kill him. So I'm curious what's going to happen there. Who is Daphne anyway? Is the guy in the bed Peter, Nathan (and apparently Syler's) father? I guess I really missed a whole bunch even though it was only like... 4 episodes. But I guess that is a lot, lol. Oh well. I still am recording them all from here on out as well as the Clone Wars on Cartoon Network. Next episode is Wednesday and then on Friday! *inner joy*

Yeah, a lot did happen in 4 episodes. You can still watch the previous episodes on NBC.com if you want to catch up.

I tried that... but the videos won't play. They just... stay blank the whole time. I guess I could wait until it comes out on DVD. Although I don't really want to, lol. Oh well.
